About

Queen.Victoria.Roses was founded in 2018 by writer and historian, Shannon McInulty. Since beginning her research, Shannon has dedicated her time to teaching people about Queen Victoria, along with her large family and record breaking reign. From life stories to stately homes, Queen.Victoria.Roses offers a wide range content, which is shared daily across this website, Instagram and Facebook.

Over the last few years, Shannon has worked with a number of biographers, royal watchers and historical sites. In 2023, she interviewed the creator of TV series ‘Victoria’, Daisy Goodwin, and author of ‘The King is Dead, Long Live the King!’, Martin Williams, as well as working with Stoneleigh Abbey in Warwickshire, to gather information and write about Queen Victoria’s 1858 visit.

Passionate about sharing her knowledge, Shannon spends her free time working alongside the public at Carisbrooke Castle Museum and Osborne House, summer residence of Queen Victoria.

Shannon is available for historical talks, research and social media collaborations. If you are interested in working with Shannon or have any business enquiries, please email her on queenvictoriaroses@gmail.com

‘One of Queen Victoria’s biggest fears was being forgotten to history so I have made it my mission to create a space that allows people to learn about and understand the true Victoria”

– Shannon
