‘Dress Codes’ exhibition highlights

After visiting The King’s Gallery on Saturday I managed to squeeze in a quick visit to Queen Victoria’s childhood home, Kensington Palace, to see their current ‘Dress Codes’ exhibition. While mDress Codes’ is somewhat smaller than previous exhibitions held at the palace, it was amazing to see objects from the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection. My favourite object were, of course, the dress and bodice, which were once worn by Queen Victoria but there were so many other treasures on display; including dresses worn by a Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret and Princess Diana. The exhibition ends on 30th November so I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already!

You planning to see the exhibition before it closes?
